The one where I talk to Mary McGuigan about the Christmas Dinners project in Manchester, it is one of 18 Christmas Dinners happening across the country this year, having grown from a base of just 2.
This project blows me away because it is entirely volunteer run and all about giving young people who have been in care a Christmas experience that is special. Even this year 2020, when people cannot gather, when Christmas will look very different for all of us, even in the midst of this not only have they been able to make a plan that still encourages the young people to feel part of something very special but also the project has been inundated with volunteers. It warms my heart and I hope it will yours too.
