Welcome to this week's episode, where we delve into a very important topic, "God’s Kind of Chats.” That is, Exalting His Name Together, as implied in Psalm 34:3 (NKJV) which says “Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Join us on this journey of exposition as we explore the importance of engaging in the kinds of chats the Lord wants for His children.
When we meet as God’s children, He doesn’t expect us to be discussing what is not working or what the devil is doing. Rather, He wants us as His people to discuss and share what He is doing despite the chaos all around us.
He wants us to share with one another how He is providing in the midst of scarcity; how He is protecting us in the midst of dangers; how He is making ways for us where there seems to be no way, etc. These are God’s kind of chats.
God loves us and cares about us. When we talk like the heathen who don’t believe in God we stand to experience the terrible things they experience. But when we talk the way He wants us to talk, He causes us to ride above what is not working and gives us testimonies in the midst of adversity.
“Oh, Magnify the Lord with Me, and let us exalt His Name together” is God’s kind of chat. When we magnify the Lord, we are not making Him bigger as He is already God. Rather, when we do, we are making Him bigger than our problems and circumstances. Magnifying the Lord reduces the size of our problems. So, when we meet together in our churches, workplaces, business meetings, etc, we must learn to exalt the Lord in our discussions. That’s the kind of chat He wants from us.
Join us in prayer as we seek the grace of God to continually exalt the Lord with our words whenever we find ourselves in discussions. If you've never surrendered your life to Jesus, now is the time.
