“I get by with a little help from my friends,” or so The Beatles said. As women now in our 30’s, we often struggle to maintain friendships when life gets hectic, which these days seems like every waking hour. And if it’s so hard to maintain relationships, how on earth do we form new ones? The landscape for meeting people has changed with the onset of social media, apps, and even the workplace. But as friendships form and evolve, how do we recognize if something isn’t working anymore? The Charlatans realize that willingness to take criticism and learning how to be a good friend is part of adult learning. That constructive criticism could be the key to unlocking your own greatness. Expectations of what we can receive in a friendship have to come with empathy. How do we apply these “lessons” to society at large? Music by Michael Lehman. Produced by Cellar Studio 39.
