On holidays especially we can find ourselves denying our bodies needs earlier in the day so that we can allow ourselves to eat more (or eat more fun foods) later. I explain why this thought system is detrimental by its perpetuating the restrict-binge cycle. I also explain how to end this compensating game with food, and movement too, so we can better honor the body and meet its needs.
