Long before Covid-19 put a stop to cross-border travelling, Natalie Chung Sum-Yue’s social enterprise ‘V’air’, has been promoting low-carbon local tourism in Hong Kong to mitigate climate change. What’s more, Natalie is also a published author and one of the youngest members of the Hong Kong government’s Council for Sustainable Development. Belinda and Kadence sit down with Natalie, the Japan Times Female Climate Activist of Asia 2021, to discuss V’air and eco-tourism, her vision for climate education, and her experiences working with the Hong Kong government and large multilateral organisations. It’s a jam-packed episode full of insights from one of the most inspiring individuals in the youth climate action space- so stay tuned.
