STUDENT: okay Gary do you think it's realistic to talk to all of us about achieving those levels of success? It doesn't seem very realistic to me.
ME AKA GARY: that's a fair question. Do you mind if I ask you a question before I answer.
STUDENT: SURE
ME: What's your ultimate potential?
STUDENT: I'm sorry I don't follow you
ME: what are your limitations? What are you capable of achieving? What is your ceiling? In other words do you know what your ultimate potential is?
STUDENT: hmmm I never really thought about. it I guess I have no idea.
ME: that's an honest answer, and I appreciate that. So here's the point; nobody knows. And if you don't know what your ultimate potential is, then how can you possibly judge what is realistic? Honestly, what good does it do us to talk about what is realistic in the end, we don't even know what we're truly capable of achieving?
DM: I agree with this one hundred percent you don't really know what your potential is. So go out there make the best of it try your best try things do things become better every day. And little by little you come to be in places that you never thought you could be. And then you're going to know that you can grow your life at will an at scale. It's never too late as long as you're willing to go and fight the good fight you're going to be in a different place 5 to 7 years from now. It took me approximately 7 to 10 years to completely change my life.I believe we all have the potential to do the same. Where you are is not where you're going to end up. But if you don't take your life on the control and if you don't start believing in yourself then you might end up somewhere you do not want to be. So go out there and give it your best and little by little you will realize you have a lot more potential than you ever thought you had.#davemartiroso #d.m.
