“I CAN’T STAY CONSISTENT WITH A DIET”
New year new you
Your meal prepping
Got your chicken and lean meats
Veggies all ready
Very low carbs
But then one day you get this craving…
For some pizza (which has carbs)
So one slice turns into 2 slices and 2 turns into 4 and then all the of sudden the whole box is gone
You feel so guilty cause you were doing sooo good this whole month
Then the next day you feel like a complete failure and you convince yourself this lifestyle just isn’t for you at all
You gave it a try but you just can’t continue to do it
You might be good at other things but this you are just not cut out for
So the problem here is YOU WENT TOO HARD TOO FAST
Stop trying to run a super strict diet…stop trying to cut out your carbs…stop cutting out your favorite foods it doesn’t work…
Here’s 3 tips to have a flexible diet:
1.You need patience. The reason your being so restrictive is because you want results fast but it just doesn’t work that way…this will take months to years…sorry
2.Use the 80/20 rule. So eating 80% of your calories healthy and 20% the foods you LOVE. That 20% can be pizza/ice cream/candy. Don’t be afraid of your favorite foods they will contribute to your success!
3. DO NOT CUT OUT CARBS. Unless you have a medical condition. Our bodies THRIVE off of carbs. Carbs give us energy, they provide ATP to our bodies so our workouts can be as efficient as possible
Start doing these and WATCH how consistent you’ll be with your diet from now on
Start monitoring how much you’ll look forward to eating instead of dreading
Now this can be a lifestyle instead of a rushed process for yourself
