You feel embarrassed to take your shirt off

Looking in the mirror isn’t comfortable at all

In fact, you try your best to avoid looking the mirror because it just brings your mood down

What’s makes it worse is that you know you can do better…

There’s this voice in your head you hear every day telling you, what to do…

But once sports stopped you felt lost, you felt stressed on what to do in the gym

So you decided to take a small “break” that break turned into 2 years away from the gym

That break turned into 20lbs gained since sports stopped

Once the coach’s weren’t there , fans and teammates were gone you didn’t have that motivation anymore

So here’s 5 steps to start getting that motivation back:

  1. Set a goal for yourself 90 days from now, this adds urgency for your goals to start getting there
  2. Gym 3 times a week. People tend to overcommit to the gym. Be realistic, this isn’t sports practice. This is what works best for you.
  3. Schedule out the days of the week you plan on working out ahead of time. So you can’t make excuses for the week!
  4. Meal Prep your food. No more excuses like “you don’t have time to cook”. Take 2 hours out of your week meal prep on Sunday and Wednesday and you’ll be just fine.
  5. Get some accountability partners. Get some old teammates or hire a coach to keep you motivated throughout the process. It’s a rewarding but also…lonely journey guys…so find some like minded individuals!
