My job Keeps me too late

My friends invited me to go out

I got home and I was too tired

My bills are too high

Ever since sports stopped you lost that drive

You lost that hunger to improve

You started gaining weight like it was your job

Life got in the way

Stress, family, girlfriends, vacations, the list goes on

Now your staring at that scale heavier than you’ve ever been

Looking in the mirror and you barely recognize yourself

Man boobs starting to sag

And now you can’t even wear T-shirts anymore

How to release your inner athlete again:

  1. GET STRUCTURE. Your whole life you knew when, where, has direction with practice. Get on a program , and stop trying to wing it yourself. Upper/lower or full body would be a good place to start.
  2. Have a list of non-negotiables for your day. 1 gallon of water, 3 meals, 1 workout, 5k steps. This will mitigate excuses you make.
  3. Sign up for a race, a league, 5k, 10k, something that will keep you going and motivated to push through those hard times.
  4. Get around people who want the next level. If your environment right now isn’t pushing you to grow and get uncomfortable, then your in the wrong room Ex-athlete.

Now your down 10-20lbs

You feel like a fricking beast again

Your looking in the mirror and you feel comfortable in your own skin again

And your feeling even more confident than when you were playing sports back in the day
