Why Comparing myself held me back for so long

I remember day 1 in the gym

I saw this dude jacked, massive arms, and a six pack

Here I am a scrawny kid, no muscle, man boobs and a belly who can barely bench the bar

Seeing how far they were it was tough for me at times

Every time I would hit a mark, I would look at how far they are and how much I had to do to get to where they were

BUT THIS IS EXACTLY HOW YOU SHOULDN’T GO ABOUT IT

I realized that these guys aren’t sitting and comparing all day

They are FUCKING WORKING

They are grinding

So I needed to start thinking like them, I needed to start being ruthless about my goals.

I needed action not comparison.

Once I got clear on that was when I started making MASSIVE strides

Cause my mental space was taken up by their journeys WHEN I NEEDED TO FOCUS ON MY OWN PATH…

So males struggling with man boobs

Stop comparing, you’ll never get to where these guys , or where you wanna be at looking at other dudes wondering how they got there

THE ONLY WAY you can make your goals happen for you

Is if you take MASSIVE ACTION for your own path an ignore what everyone else is doing

Ignore what your friend, family, people in your gym are doing.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING today to get better for yourself ?
