Are you guys ever having a great workout but then all of the sudden

You see that guy at the gym thats huge, or you see that guy thats making more progress, stronger, leaner, more muscle

OR you even see someone in this group and it seems like they’re doing better, maybe they came a month after you and seeing more results with you

Then your mind just went from thinking extremely positive about how your looking to being like

“Man you aren’t where he’s at yet”

‘Why aren’t we further along”

“You Should be way farther than this…’

“You falling behind”

And you start to actually believe these things your mind is saying

This actually discourages so much that you toss in the towel for that day with your nutrition, with your training, with everything else

And then this one bad day turns into several bad days now…

Several bad days turns into you resenting the gym because now you have a negative association with it and you just don’t wanna go anymore…

Does this sound familiar guys?

Just say ME in the chat box if you guys have ever felt like you experienced this on some level

So heres how to eliminate comparison from your life

  1. Call it out… when you feel that sense of discouragement…call it the fuck out. Why did you feel that sense of comparison? Who are you comparing yourself too.
  2. Redefine greatness for you. We are all savages in our own ways guys…But I need you to define what even is greatness for you? Maybe its losing 20lbs and being a good father, maybe its hitting consistent PRs, maybe its hitting your nutrition goals consistently, maybe its gaining mass. RUN YOUR OWN RACE… (write that in the chat box) RUN your own race. Some of you have been here for close to 2 years some of you have been here for 2 weeks.
  3. Your only seeing the outside of the other person. You don’t know what that person is going through, you don’t know what sacrifices that person made, and don’t know if you wanna make those sacrifices. That guy are your gym might look huge but…he might hate everything else about his life. Maybe he’s on steroids and has to deal with side effects. Maybe that guy with a brunch of money looks happy on the outside but when he gets home he’s depressed and always worried about things.
