“Another Valentine’s Day of Being Single”…
it’s been 4.5 years since my last serious relationship
I get it all the time
“Why aren’t you dating?”
“Why don’t you have a girlfriend”
It’s not like I haven’t had opportunities over the last few years
Where I would go on dates, have something “casual”, not super serious
And There’s been moments when I could’ve settled down in a relationship
But it took me a long time realize…
God has called for me and all Male followers of God, we’re not looking for casual we’re looking for our future wives
“Woah man why are you like so serious”
because I’m a serious man looking for a serious relationship
When you shift your perspective to knowing exactly what you want in a serious relationship you don’t waiver from that vision
So maybe I had a few stints over the last few years but it’s not EXACTLY what I wanted
And Too many men settle so fast for the first thing thrown at them, but in reality they’re settling and that leads to unhappiness later
Or they settle for what their family, friends, co-workers think is good for them…but not what’s actually good for them
What makes me dangerous….
is I’m not afraid to be alone, I could single for another 5 years if that’s how long it’ll take for me to meet the wife that I see myself with
Don’t get me wrong….Of course I get lonely like any single man, but I would much rather be lonely than play an act of a person I know I shouldn’t be with
And no I don’t need tinder, bumble, hinge, to find my future wife
I just need to authentically be myself every single day
I do that by improving, getting better, investing in myself, pushing myself in my faith, in my training, in my current relationships
So any single men out there today on Valentine’s Day, you are not weird for being single
Your just choosing the hard path and being patient to find that right person
I’m right here with you waiting and working in the mean time
Of course anybody in a relationship enjoy your day with your partner 🙏❤️
