ITS OKAY to be misunderstood….
It’s okay that you think differently compared to your friends
It’s okay that you like to put in extra work compared to most people
It’s okay that you aspire for more than most people
Athletes were the people that stayed an extra 3 hours after school, got home and had 2 hours to do their work and get back up @5:00am the next day
Then weekends were spent at games, tournaments, while everyone else is wasting time sleeping in because they’re okay being average
They’re okay being mediocre
You are built differently…you were an athlete cause you knew you were destined for more
You were willing to push yourself to places most People NEVER WANTED TO GO
But since sports ended you just haven’t been the same
Your drive to want more has lowered, you’ve gotten complacent and it feels weird because ITS NOT YOU!!
You are not fucking average
So I wanna give you 4 tips to UNLOCK the inner savage in you again
1. Get back on a structured schedule. You THRIVE OFF of routine, you thrive off of knowing what times things are getting done.
2. You are your competition now instead of another opponent. And every single day you NEED to wake up, ready to face that competition in the gym, at your job, and your relationships, and getting 1% better in those areas every day.
3. SET A NEW GOAL. Let’s ignite that fire in you once again, it starts with having a goal to get after. Lose 10lbs,15lbs, lose the love handles the man boobs. Doesn’t matter be specific
4. STOP FUCKING CONFORMING to what you’ve been handed, and RAISE YOUR BAR.
This way we can bring that inner savage out once again and feel like that person you know you really are deep down
