THIS IS WHY YOU KEEP FAILING WHEN YOU GO FOR A NEW PR......

That’s gonna be proper WARM-UP!!

Most of you and I used to do this too, so I’m guilty as well, go to the gym and go right to the compounds, literally like after your stretches that’s the first thing you’ll do. And you question why your not getting stronger at the gym!!! Your stuck at this plateau on bench or squat or deadlift.

-
Here’s where you go wrong in that, if you go into a heavy compound cold and not fully warmed-up, your not gonna perform optimally when you try to execute that lift!! Your muscle groups that are gonna be utilized are for the first time being stimulated in that workout land it’s a heavy movement! That’s not the way you wanna go about it.

The difference between going into a heavy bench warmed-up vs cold is so night and day. If you can get some blood flow in your triceps, shoulders, chest, and back especially as well in order to get the lats properly engaged. Once all these muscle groups are pre fatigued with some light weight for high reps, and your feeling dialed in, THEN YOU GO FOR A HEAVY MOVEMENT. But do yourself a favor stop going in without being warmed-up, your wasting your potential of a workout.

Take the extra 10 minutes to do the proper warm-up, and make the most use of the workout. Cause to me if I go into a deadlift, bench, or squat cold, I know I fucked up already. You also be less likely to have injury if you go in with all your muscle warmed up.

Pick 2-3 movements go for reps as high as 20-25 for 3-4 sets that really engage the proper muscle groups your gonna be working that day. You’ll see a difference in the return of the workout, and quality of the workout overall. Hope you guys found this helpful!
