I was about to speak to a group of ‘networking veterans’ about LinkedIn.
But before I spoke, each one introduced themselves.
Some of their 'elevator pitches' were very good. In fact, practically all of the attendees could talk a pretty good game.
So when I eventually got up to speak, I congratulated them for the way they spoke so clearly and passionately about their businesses.
Then I stuck in the knife...
