Sam is the author of The American Trilogy series of historical fiction novels: A Panther Crosses Over, Beardstown, and American Pied Piper. The entire series is set in west-central Illinois, in the area around Beardstown along the Illinois River. Sam has written two other novels: Non-Semper Fidelis and Alpha Male.
