Temptation doesn't shout... it sings. This message will look at the reality of temptation as revealed through the story of the sirens, as well as Jesus’ temptation as recorded in Luke chapter 4. You will see the reality of temptation as something that is real because evil is personal, something that is difficult because our desires are disordered, and something that must always be named but never normalized. Ultimately, you will see the solution in Christ, who knows our temptation intimately and has already overcome it for us.
