Shahaji Maharaj was a great chief general in the court of Nizam Shah. Due of one incident that happened in Nizam court, he left the Nizam Shahi and joined Adil Shahi. Shahaji Raje Bhosale increased the Bhosale fame towards South India and also established his clan in Thanjavur.
