On this week’s episode, our host Saya’Ka catches up with Shahaadah Morell, who has showcased with WRF in our first virtual event back in November 2020. Shahaadah is a multidisciplinary visual artist who is often spiritually driven to create. Shahaadah’s artwork, mainly consisting of narrative self-portraits, reveals self-reflective themes, and encourages collective and generational healing. Today, the conversation revolves around self-reflection, learning through negativity, and growth.
