In this episode of the podcast Coach Sheffer sits down with Hussam Ouri, OLine and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Shepherd University, a D2 program in West Virginia.
Coach Ouri bio: Entering his sixth year as an assistant coach for the Rams is Hussam Ouri. Ouri serves as the offensive line/assistant tight ends/fullbacks coach and head football strength and conditioning coach. Ouri is a USSCC Certified Strength and Condition Specialist and holds a USAW (USA Weightlifting) Level 1 Olympic Certification. Ouri was four-year player and a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Rams. He was a three-time All-Conference performer. He served as a team captain in 2014 and gained First Team All-MEC and Second Team All-Region honors. He also earned National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society accolades. Ouri is a 2015 Shepherd graduate with a degree in recreation/leisure studies with a concentration in exercise science. He also gained his MBA degree from Shepherd.
