FOE, based on the novel by Iain Reid, is a sci-fi pyscological thriller about the lives of a married couple (Saorise Ronan, Paul Mescal) that are turned upside down when a stranger arrives at their farm and informs the husband he will be sent to a large space station, and his wife will be left in the company of a robot. FOE is directed by Garth Davies, who previously directed the Oscar nominated film LION.
Matyas Erdely is the cinematographer on FOE. One of his best known films is the Hungarian drama Son of Saul which won Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars and the Grand Prix at Cannes in 2016.
Park Jiha is a Korean composer and multi-instrumentalist. She serves as a co-composer on FOE along with Oliver Coates. FOE is her feature film debut as a composer.
Patrice Vermett is the production designer of FOE. His previous credits include The Young Victoria, Prisoners, Enemy, Sicario, Arrival, Vice, Dune, and the upcoming Dune: Part Two. Vermett received the Oscar for Best Production Design for his work in Dune and was nominated for The Young Victoria and Arrival.
