halfsies tells the story of five half-brothers, who come together after their sibling's mysterious death and are inadvertently launched on a quest to find the truth behind his murder when his ghost shows up at the wake. In addition to Des, it stars Wade Allain-Marcus (INSECURE) and Devere Rogers (HONK FOR JESUS, SAVE YOUR SOUL), among many other talented folks.
Des Moran is a Producer on Peacock's QUEER AS FOLK reimagining and a Supervising Producer on Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of Cheryl Strayed’s National Bestseller, TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS. Previously he worked on seasons three and four of Freeform's hit comedy GROWN-ISH, and seasons one and two of NBC/Netflix's GOOD GIRLS. In features, Des is writing a musical for Warner Brothers, executive produced by Cynthia Erivo, Josh Gad, and Rideback.
Brad Klipfel is a Writer and Director who splits his time between Portland and Los Angeles, and originally hails from St. Louis. As a Director, his short, KALEIDACORP has screened at Cannes, Las Vegas, and Miami International Film Festivals, among others. Recently, his prestige limited docuseries project sold to Hulu in a competitive situation. As a Producer, his work has been profiled as VIMEO Short of the Week. As a Screenwriter, his scripts have placed in various competitions and festivals, including the Nicholls Screenwriting Fellowship, Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab, and others.
