Description

Whether you're black, white, brown or yellow, we all have our own unique way of viewing life in America. What was it like for you growing up here in America as an adolescent? How has that shaped your view on US society, now? On this episode, the hosts of After29 discuss their life experiences and what it has meant to grow up black in America. Although they all come from different areas of the US, as black men, it would seem that some experiences are just commonplace and almost unavoidable. Take a trip with the After29 hosts as they explore their first encounters with racism and how it brought them to a realization of self-love. Join in the discussion with the guys and reflect on your own encounters with prejudice. Did it make you hate people? Learn to love them anyway? Or just accept people as they are? We want to hear from you! Like/Follow us on all social media and while you're there, leave a comment on this episode's topic or feedback. Thanks for listening.
