Alright listeners, I want a good clean match, first one to pin the other wins, and that right there is all I know about wrestling despite having watched a whole movie about it. That’s right it’s time to get your gear on and get that chip the size of Manhattan off your shoulder as we discuss the 2004 Andrew Lawrence lead DCOM, Going to the Mat. Jake wonders what high school bad gets invited to play at Radio City, Kate applauds for the appearance of Zero from Holes, and both of them wonder why Wayne Brady isn’t in this movie more, as well as say goodbye to the Lawrence brothers appearing on the DCOM journey. They also give some breaking news about the next installment in the Descendants franchise.
This episodes tangents include but are not limited to: Our Thanksgiving breaks, School projects, Our lord and savior Stu Krieger, Chapek out Iger back in, The continued teasing of our time in drama club, Times we’ve been in NYC, High schoolers be looking different, The athletic demand of dance, and having good relationships with your body and food.
We say this in the episode but please take anything we say about the depiction of disability in this movie with a grain of salt, we are both fully abled bodied people and if we say something wrong please politely DM us as we are always open to being educated about such topics.
