In this episode of YM, I invited the founder of Inmate, a company which empowers and trains the convicted prisoners of India and gives them a second chance alongside promoting the lost traditions of Kolhapuris.
Divej and I talk about his background and how an MBA project turned into such a unique business model. We talk about the employment and training processes of the prisoners and also his learnings along the way. We talk in depth about a certification provided to the prisoners for their work which verifies them as a Karigar. Lastly, we talk about Divej's vision for Inmate.
