Welcome to the final part of our three part series, Irresponsible Independence: In Commitment and Consequence. In this series we delve into the dichotomy of our God-given freedom and our duty to serve Him and others.
Carrying on from the previous part, we talk further about how the best that God has for us is only found in submitting ourselves to Him. On the other hand, we are vulnerable to the devil's counterfeits when we just go after what seems good to us without having the Lord guiding us. Our freedom is not meant for choosing the wrong things and becoming enslaved again to what is unwholesome. Being patient as we serve God with our freedom always yields the best fruit in our life. The more we sow good seed with Him, the better our harvest will be and the greater our freedom. We wrap up this series talking about how all of this is dependent on learning to hear God's voice and obey Him. And the good news is: He is already within us and wanting to help with the whole process!
