Welcome to Part III of our newest mini-series!
Continuing from the previous segment, we talk about the importance of self discipline and having the right vision for our life in posturing our heart rightly so that God can work His will in our life. As we make choices to trust God and stand in obedience to His direction, our hearts grow in relationship with God and we become a conduit for His best to come into our world. We can be mistaken about what we really want and what is best for us. But God always knows what will bring us joy and fulfillment in life. One of the ways He may show us His will is by speaking through others to us. He enjoys relationships and flowing through them, binding us together to Himself. Although we are imperfect, God is always inviting us higher so that we can begin to grasp what His heart is for us. He wants to mature us so that we can begin to understand the true wonder and bliss He created us to share in life. Learning to heed the voice of our Shepherd and stay close to Him in everything is the secret to growing up in Him. God's character is being transferred to us through this growth process as we strive to know Him in all of our decision making.
