Welcome to Part IV of our newest mini-series!
Continuing from our last segment, Brandi begins explaining how she has been in a process of exposing lies and uprooting wrong beliefs in her heart since she was set free from her captor. She talks about how God reveals these things to her and assists her in the process of untwisting the perspectives that got twisted up through evil influences. That battlefield of the mind takes time to fully regain after ground has been lost. We also talk about how some of the issues of our heart can come from misidentifying ourselves. When we cling tightly to things, behavior, and other people who are toxic for us and not what we were made for, it can keep us from being true to ourselves having a united heart that is truly after God's best. We also talk about how God wants to help us make the right choice. He is on our side even to help us turn back when we get off track. He is always willing to work with us where we are even if we have made terrible decisions. God is never trying to make things harder for us. We conclude that we must always include God as we make decisions and learn to love ourselves and grow in an appropriate level of trust in our own heart.
