Welcome to Part III of our mini-series all about mindset!

Picking up where we left off, Brandi talks about how she has had to go through a process of undoing the damage from the mind-games that her captor played to keep her under control. We can get twisted up in our minds when we learn the wrong lessons from bad things that happen to us and the bad people who try to force their way on us. We don't just instantly get better when we realize that we have personal power to move forward from that situation. There will still be time needed to heal and correct the wrong mindsets that we adapted. We also talk about how with practice it is possible to choose our attitude in a day and not be a victim of the first-reaction feelings we have. In order to choose a good attitude though, we have to first realize that we canmake that decision in the first place; and then we must adapt a powerful mindset that is always focused on being proactive to make everything less of a fight for us to be positive as much as possible.
