Description

Welcome to Part XXIII of our series on understanding counterfeit identity!

The first subtype of the "Soloist" is the "Virtuist." They idolize people around them and judge things and other people against the people they believe to be "perfect." The standards, values, and abilities of a certain person becomes God to the Virtuist. The imperfectness of a human can't replace God and basing identity in another person makes you fragile…whether it be that they disappoint or fail you, as well as the day that they die and you no longer have them to be your world and standard for living.

The Virtuist can easily fall into deception even about the person that they hold so highly. God doesn't change, but people do. You may feel like it at times because of misunderstanding, but God will never fail you. He will give you clarification if you seek it. Also, hear why copying others also doesn't create happiness.
