Bisi Obateru, originally from Lagos, Nigeria, came to the US as an F-1 student to attend university. Frustrated and confused about visa options, he applied for an O-1 artist visa after graduating.

Eventually finding H-1B cap exempt employment at a local nonprofit in the San Francisco area, the experience of not having a straightforward option, confusion and fear talking about immigration, and the expense, got Bisi thinking… There must be a better way.

As an urban planning major and looking to streamline global mobility, JustiGuide was born.
