Sometimes you may find yourself in the undesirable position to help someone against their wishes. Like a person who is unaware their house is on fire as they are gently sleeping. Jude helps us navigate through this task with balance: in view of God's love, mercy, and kindness. In this passage he describes the spiritual state of helplessness in which some reside, preceded by how we will be able to help them as someone has helped us.
