Philippe Halsman photographer and friend to Salvador Dali has the most time magazine covers.
it took 26 tries to create Dali Atomicus with Halsman having to run to the dark room to produce the image and see how the shot turned out.
Google Dali Atomicus and know that Salvador Dali first suggestion was to blow up a duck with dynamite.
