A $50 million private donation from Elisabeth DeLuca, the former wife of Subway billionaire Fred DeLuca, will go toward creating a new School of Nursing at the University of Connecticut's Storrs campus. The donation is the largest in UConn’s history and is being supported by $30 million in state bonding authorized by Gov. Ned Lamont.
