LISTENING LIKE WATER is the 6th episode of the BIRTHING CONSCIOUS HUMANS - WITH WATER podcast with aquatic perinatal therapist Sophia Michalopoulou in conversation with Laila Sell who is an experienced aquatic bodywork practitioner, a somatic yoga teacher trainer and a new parent. Her classes are an invitation to explore and experience new ways of moving, breathing and being, of finding a harmonious flow.
I met Laila in Ischia during a Presence of Being retreat with our beloved teacher Shantam. Laila and her family are one of the many gifts I received in my life over the past year by moving to live very close by, on the island of Corfu.
Many of our conversations revolve around conscious parenting, supporting life with water and the wish for a warm water therapy pool. Some of the themes which show up in this gentle and sensitive conversation are:
