•Andrae Edward Crouch born in San Francisco, CA in 1942. He was a trailblazer no doubt with his rhythmic sounds and modern pop beats singing about God and all of His Good News. Andrae started as a teen writing songs and moving audiences to the edge of gospel music (during that time.)
•His best-known group was The Disciples who put such songs in our ears like “Soon and Very Soon”, “My Tribute”, “Take Me Back”, and so many others. With his edgy sounds he made waves in the music industry questioning was it really gospel music he was writing and singing?
