•Carlington Roberts is a dynamic Jamaican-born gospel artist whose powerful voice and compelling life story have made waves across the international music scene. His journey began at the age of six, when he discovered his passion for singing. By high school, Carlington was already turning heads, winning local talent competitions and making a guest appearance on the popular Jamaican TV showRapping.•In 1995, Carlington relocated to the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a platform to further his music career. After a life-altering tragedy—the loss of his father in a car accident—Carlington surrendered his life to Christ at the age of 18. This pivotal moment would forever redefine his purpose and musical direction.•His powerful testimony and soulful voice soon caught attention in the South Florida gospel scene, where he won a major gospel competition and released his debut single, "How Can I Say No" Carlington quickly rose to prominence, earning multiple awards including “Best Vocalist of the Year,” “Best Singer of the Year,” and “Best Album of the Year.”
In 2005, he released his debut album I’m Gonna Soar, a bold declaration of his rising influence in gospel music. A few years later, in 2011, Carlington gained national recognition after auditioning for BET’s hit show Sunday Best. His reggae-infused rendition of "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" earned him a spot in the Top 7 finalists, solidifying his place asa standout voice in contemporary gospel.•In 2024, Carlington released his latest album, A New Day—a powerful project that reflects his spiritual growth, resilience, and unwavering faith. Known for his heartfelt worship, Carlington brings a contemporary edge reminiscent of gospel greats like Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, and Fred Hammond.•The latest release “A New Day” is available for downloads and streaming on all digital platforms.
