•A bit about today’s guest Dr. C. Charles Clency, a Gospel musician, music educator and author. He is a native of Chicago and grew up in the mainstream of Gospel music activity.
•Dr. Clency has a Bachelor of Arts in Music received at Northeastern Illinois University of Chicago and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Indiana University in Bloomington IN.
•He shared his expertise and gifts with multiple colleges, universities and churches throughout the world, and has authored 3 books. His books are: The Handbook of Gospel Music, 100 Years of Music In The Chicago Black Church and soon to be released later in 2021 is The Last Accompanist of Mahalia Jackson.
