•Markeyta Sconiers has sung in the White House and in 8 countries outside of the United States. she sang on television shows, including Oprah, and with several music artists, including Stevie Wonder and Neil Diamond. Recording her 1st solo project, I Will Sing, in 2015, her next single The Sacrifice was released in 2022, which she wrote and co-produced.
•Markeyta has served in music ministry for decades as a Worship Leader, Minister of Music, and Director of Worship and Arts. She was a member of Walt Whitman’s Soul Children of Chicago Choir at the age of 14. With this choir, she traveled across the U.S. ; to Sweden, Denmark,
and Norway. Certified in Vocal Instruction from Dorolyn Academy, Markeyta has vocally trained choirs,
groups, and soloists for decades.
• As an artist, Markeyta prides herself as a songwriter who
has performed live and studio background vocals for a number of music artists. She wishes to demonstrate her love for music through the use of her gifts for others. Markeyta plans to continue sharing her gift of song with the world.
•Markeyta's upcoming single, “I Worship You”, will be released in August 2024 through her companies, The MarLatSco Group & MarLatSco Publishing.
