•Talasia is a natural-born singer whose musical journey began as a young girl in Atlantic City, New Jersey accompanying her mother to the studio, where she frequently recorded original music.
•After years of singing in Abundant Life Worship Center’s choir, she was inspired to write her own music, despite concerns that her unconventional lyrical and melodic style might not fit the traditional gospel genre. However, Talasia’s dedication to her craft led her to develop a unique sound that strategically incorporates thought-provoking messages, helping nonbelievers and fellow
Christians alike strengthen their connection to God.
•Her music is a beacon of hope, love, and peace in a chaotic world. Talasia’s accomplishments include winning Gospel Song of the Year and Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year at the Maranatha Rhema Awards in 2023 for her song “Everybody Gon See,” performing on the main stage at the 8th Annual Avidity Awards in January 2024 and being featured on FOX SOUL (The Book of Sean), Pretty Women Hustle magazine, and the Living the Empowered Life Podcast.
•Most recently, in July 2024, Talasia performed at the 39th annual Gospel Stellar Awards week in Las Vegas, NV
delivering spectacular performances at three different venues.
