Undertaker, Please Drive Slow, by Ron Goulart, is a very Chandleresque type of story. It centers on a wealthy man whose daughter apparently died on their yacht several years earlier. The man refuses to believe his daughter is dead and hires a private detective to find her - now that he has some evidence that she is alive!
