Isaiah 9:5-6 reminds us of the gift of a child representing humanity and the Son embodying divinity. We often focus on "Baby Jesus," a comforting and temporary figure, but we must also reflect on the "Son," His purpose, and His destination: to bridge the gap between us and God.
Jesus came not just to be born in the manger but to restore, refresh, and bring us back to God. Like the Magi, we are invited not to merely contemplate Him but to experience Him in His fullness.
The Son, fully God, was given to forgive our past, give purpose to our present, and offer us a certain future. Embracing the Son means becoming children of God, heirs of His grace.
