There are times when it’s good to compromise and there are times/situations that we must not compromise at all.

Compromising our faith happens in the “small” things

We are not called to comfort, but we are called to growth.

When we escape and refuse accountability it sets us up for death, Had Eutychus been sitting next to someone he would have not fallen from the window.

Unlike Eutychus we need not to sit on the “edge”, but watch out and focus on the following;

• Opportunity – every person we meet, every moment with someone we love, every challenge we face, every heartache we face, is an opportunity to tell God that we are TRUSTING HIM
• GOD’s WORD - His word never fails
• GOD’s HOUSE – which is the body of Christ that Jesus died for.
• GODLY RELATIONSHIPS - Eutychus’s “time alone” brought him to his death!! When we are tempted to “doze off” we can have people around watching over us!

Even if we we are to ultimately fall, having people “around” us can have the POWER to bring us up from the dead! Let us sit at the right seat, let us recommit, let us not SLEEP!!
