We are called to fight; we are called to stand our ground regarding our faith. Unfortunately, it’s not even a “one off” thing. It’s an ongoing process of fighting over situations and then move over to the next battle. We are called to fight! We are called to stand firm and we can only do that by identifying our enemy!
If there’s anyone who demonstrated strong tenacity, endurance, and the will to not give up, was Joshua. What lays ahead is not ours to know, but God instructs us that fear is not something that should have control over us! Fear is not our future.
Three things we need to face our future:
OBEDIENCE
Obedience stems from love, it means trusting that our creator knows what is best for us.
FOCUS
We must not get distracted from God’s purpose for us. Often, the “good” is the enemy of the “great”. Stay focused not on what you desire/prefer/fear, but on what God has established for you!
AWERENESS
Hold God’s hand during this journey called life. Yes, there will be difficulties, anxieties, triumphs, temptations, and falls, but you must have the awareness that GOD IS WITH YOU!
