Description

In what areas of your faith, life and calling are you doing a Jonah? Running to Tarshish (comfort, ease, denial, your preference) instead of boldly stepping into Nineveh (calling, God’s ways, helping others, growing with God, obedience, glorifying Him).

 We all do it, but lets look at Jonah’s life and see what we can learn from his mistakes and see if we can gain some of God’s vision and direction for our own lives.

You’re free to pursue whatever you want, let’s remember what walking with God really look like though and if you’re finding yourself empty or in the depths with what you’re pursuing, there are some questions we need to ask ourselves.

1. What’s good isn’t always God and purpose isn't always preference

2. Complaining leads to detaining

3. Start with Father's heart (and yours will catch up.)

Tarshish will always be there as a temptation, but In Nineveh I have God’s loving teaching and character refinement, I get to help others and God gets the glory. I choose Nineveh. And I know by looking at Jonah that God’s grace and Fatherly love will be there to help me when I go off track. Ninevah is a choice.....
