God’s glory is the shining force of who God is in his essence. His presence is everything, it’s not optional, it’s necessary
His presence means finding God’s favor.
If you don’t have His favor, you can’t have his presence. The two things go together! That’s why we go after his presence!!
- His presence restores the soul
- His presence is what distinguishes us
- His presence sets us apart. You don’t go unnoticed if you’re a “carrier” of his presence.
- His presence is what causes motion. When his presence is with us, it creates motion. It creates life out of death, it creates something out of nothing. It is not stagnant! it is not lifeless !
- His presence creates intimacy. You were created to have friendship with God. God does not just want us to know about him; he wants us to know him — and to experience his friendship.
We need not only to be exposed to God’s presence, but acknowledge his in-dwelling Spirit, that has been given to each and every one who has accepted him.
