Jochebed realized the truth about God’s anointing: nothing and no one can hinder God’s plans and purpose.She had a baby in the least appropriate time. In the midst of Death and persecution but she did not try and hijack God’s plans.
1- The power of God’s anointing
Because of Moses special nature they we’re not afraid of the king’s command
Moses’s mother was willing to “let go” of the most precious thing she possessed.
2- The power of positioning
Jochebed threw Moses into the very same place that Pharoah had ordered to be thrown the Jewish baby boys. Even if the “place” is a place of death God will turn it around!
She had the awareness of being in God’s will and sought out God’s plan
3- The power of letting go
She didn’t just let go once, but twice! Living your life with the theme of surrender implies you leaving and letting go of any self interest or personal agenda, embracing ANYTHING which comes your way.
Pain, grief or worldly success, are all at the same level in surrendering to Jesus
It happens in the small moments, Jochebed decided to “let go” of that small basket. She had understood that the most precious thing she possessed had a far greater purpose ! She decided to let God handle it.
