Show Notes:
The Whisky - Nobushi Japanese Whisky
- Tasting notes (courtesy of Flaviar)
- Appearance / Color: Light Amber
- Nose / Aroma / Smell: You’ll find distinct Rum-like aromas of warm caramel, spun sugar, mint, and wood.
- Flavor / Taste / Palate: The palate is light with spice cake and orange zest with a hint of vanilla. Maybe lightly floral.
- Finish: The finish is quick with a bit of heat on the tail.
- This one is aged 4 years in American oak barrels.
- The bottle is really cool - it has this neat woodblock print-style label, screw top - no cork.
- Summer whisky! That seems to be the theme with Japanese whiskies
