• Taste: Rye spice with light floral and citrus notes. Slight mint finish. Redemption says that this is a great whiskey for cocktails. 
• Details: Mash Bill: 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley

• Taste: Large amount of corn gives it a traditional sweet bourbon taste with vanilla and caramel notes - as we’ve discussed before, this usually comes from the wood barrels and the maturation process.
• Details: Mash Bill: 75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley
• 84 Proof
• Average age of 2.5 years, aged in new charred oak barrels

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon: https://www.woodfordreserve.com/whiskey/straight-bourbon-whiskey/ 

• Cost $38-40
• Taste: Dried fruits, citrus, cinnamon, cocoa, caramel. Rich and smooth.
• Details: Mash Bill: 72% Corn, 18% Rye, 10% Barley
• 90.4 Proof
• Average age 7 years

Basil Hayden Bourbon (High Rye) https://www.basilhaydens.com/bourbon-whiskey 

• Cost $42-45
• Taste: Charred oak flavor that is complemented with sweet brown sugar, a touch of black pepper, and dried fruit to round it out
• Details: Mash Bill: 63% Corn, 27% Rye, 10% Malted Barley
• 80 Proof
• No age statement

• Taste: Smokey, sweet, cocoa notes on the nose - rounded out with black pepper and baking spice on the palate with a lengthy finish
