This week, I interviewed Nate Crawford.
Nate is currently a campus minister at Ancilla College in Donaldson, IN. He lives in Plymouth, IN with his wife of 17 years, his 3 sons, and his dog.
Nate has a PhD in Constructive Theology from Loyola University Chicago. He started attending church in the evangelical tradition, but through his studies he moved away from that form of faith. Currently, he is finishing a degree in mental health counseling with the goal of becoming a licensed mental health counselor.
Nate also lives with mental illness. He has bipolar 2 disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. He has been a mental health advocate for the last 6 years or so. He founded an organization called Here/Hear that advocated for people with mental health issues. Nate is also qualified to do QPR Suicide Prevention trainings.
In his spare time, Nate enjoys watching the Cubs, playing music, painting, camping, and other activities with his family.
